Program Success
Jim has made many positive improvements in his life over the last few years, in part, due to his involvement in the Supportive Parenting Program within our Developmental Disabilities Counseling Program.

His attendance at work has improved to the point that he is now considered a client leader. The supervisors rely on him to set up production lines and show other client workers how to do the job. Jim has also improved on his parenting skills by learning to respond to his daughter’s social cues and interact with her in a very healthy, positive way. He is now applying the skills he learned with his daughter to his infant son and is fostering a good relationship with him as well.

Teena Gerber, one of our case managers in Rock County, created this Community Resource Directory for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. She found it difficult to locate resources for her clients and their families.  This directory is an attempt to make community resources more accessible for those who need them. Please share this directory with anyone you feel may also benefit from it. The directory is alphabetical according to the name of the agency or service.
