Katy Barnum, Catholic Charities Autism Specialist, offers information and resources related to Autism Spectrum Disorders; consultations; provide trainings and host an Autism Conference in Dane County each year.
Katy has worked with both children and adults with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, since 2000. After earning her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Minnesota State University –Moorhead in 2002, she moved to Madison and completed her Master’s of Science in Social Work with a concentration in developmental disabilities from UW-Madison in 2003.
As a Support Broker with our Support Broker Program, Katy works closely with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental disabilities, their families, service providers, doctors, psychiatrists, therapists and other team members to provide long-term case management for individuals with self-directed supports.
