The Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC) serves all families that have been formed through adoption.
PARC provides many services throughout the year. As part of PARC, you will receive quarterly newsletters that are filled with information and upcoming events for your family to look forward to. In addition to the newsletter, you may receive information about support groups, trainings and family events organized by PARC. We offer community presentations, referrals to service providers and education and support services. PARC also provides training for area foster care coordinators and foster parents. All PARC referral services are free. There may be a fee for special events.
Adoption Library
We have a lending library with books, articles, tapes and DVDs covering an incredible range of adoption topics. We carry current children’s books as well as many newly released adoption resources. Feel free to drop in and utilize this quiet, comfortable space or browse the internet for online adoption resources. Three resources can be checked out at once and are due back one month from the check out date. Library Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
