The goal for the Recreation Programs is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their social, leisure, and recreational needs.

Do you love to have fun and spend time with others? The Catholic Charities Recreation Programs plan and coordinate fun social events for adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are utilized to provide supervision and assistance to program participants as they bowl, fish, swim, play cards, dance, or do other fun activities. The number of participants at an event can range from 5 to 75, and volunteers definitely enhance the participants’ experiences. All activities are community based and take place in the evenings or on week-ends.
