COA Accreditation

Catholic Charities Diocese of Madison Wisconsin is an accredited agency endorsed by the Council on AccreditationReceiving accreditation from COA is an assurance of credibility, integrity, and achievement.

The Council on Accreditation (COA) is an international, independent, not-for-profit, child- and family-service and behavioral healthcare accrediting organization. Founded in 1977 by the Child Welfare League of America and Family Service America, COA partners with human service organizations worldwide to improve service delivery outcomes by developing, applying, and promoting accreditation standards.

COA insures that the highest national standards of best practice in client services are upheld in all Catholic Charities programs. COA accreditation also confirms that organizational and management oversight policies and practices are mission-driven, and that there are strong financial controls in place.
