Catholic Charities About UsCatholic Charities of Madison, WI
is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit agency affiliated with Catholic Charities USA, the nation's largest private network of people helping people.

Our organization has served individuals and families in an eleven county area in south central Wisconsin since 1946. The programs we have reach those who are facing the transitions of aging, living with a disability, dealing with a crisis pregnancy, seeking to adopt, having marital or family problems, live in rural communities or seeking help with alcohol or drug abuse. We serve and employ persons regardless of religious, ethnic, racial or social background.

The work we do is made possible with financial support from private donations, the United Way, county contracts, client fees, foundation grants and Diocesan Services Appeal. The agency is governed by a local Board of Directors and employs more than 250 individuals and has over 350 volunteers.

As good stewards of the limited resources available for this work in the community, we actively promote and participate in local coalitions and network with other providers whenever possible to offer optimal care to program participants. A cadre of skilled, well-trained volunteers allows us to enhance a number of our programs. Our services meet the exacting standards set by the Council of Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc., one of the highest standards of quality in the United States.

We serve the following counties: Columbia, Dane, Grant, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Marquette, Rock and Sauk.
