Vision Statement
Catholic Charities serves as a visible presence of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Madison by providing services that effectively address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families, develops self-sufficiency, and protects, preserves and promotes the dignity of persons.
Catholic Charities, by providing responsive community leadership that addresses human needs, offers all people the opportunity to put their Faith into Action to build better more humane communities.
Key Values/Beliefs
• All life is sacred, from conception to natural death, and everyone has a right to be treated with dignity and respect.
• There are inalienable rights which are the minimum conditions for life in the community. All people have a right to life, food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education, employment and safety.
• All members of society have a special obligation to the poor and vulnerable.
