Mini CarnivalAdditional volunteers are needed for our Recreation Program's upcoming "Mini Carnival" for people with developmental disabilities, which will be held on March 2, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Janesville, WI. Winter Farmer's MarketVisit our Rural Life page to find out where and when additional Winter Farmer's Market will be taking place. The next market will be on Saturday, January 28th from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace. The community meal will be served from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

 

Support Broker Pen PalsRead about our new Pen Pal Project on the Client Corner page. This new project is part of our Support Broker Program and brings clients and community volunteers together.

 

Drug and Alcohol TreatmentWe offer in-patient alcohol and drug treatment programs, through Hope Haven-Rebos United, that are certified by the State of Wisconsin. Programs are staffed 24/7 and offer case management, individual counseling and group counseling. Our services are comprehensive and affordable. Average stays are under $80 per day.

Ongoing Training and Events
Caregiver Training Attend our Caregiver Training course to receive hands-on instruction from Jean Mueller, RN to learn how to move, lift/transfer properly, minimize falls and control infections. Our next class will be held at Meriter Home Health on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
